Born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada, Sam has built up an extensive art background with training from Beal Art, that included studios such as animation, ceramics, commercial art, drawing, painting, print making, sculpture and textiles.
After graduating from Beal Art, she completed Fanshawe College’s Advanced Graphic Design Program. Sam has been working in the industry ever since, as a Graphic Designer, Web Designer and part-time Instructor in the Advanced Graphic Design Program at Fanshawe College.
As an artist, Sam works in a wide range of mediums, including painting with acrylics and watercolours, drawing with graphite and ink, as well as chalk. You will find her paintings, drawings and chalk work in numerous private collections, as well as on display at various locations around London.
As an active artist in the local community, Sam participated from 2013-2016 in the Brush Off event at the Children’s Museum as well as Expressions in Chalk event from 2009 until it's last year in 2019.
